Bath Building Services an SEO project

With the completion of Bathbuildingservices, the next agreed phase is to market the clients website to the public.

Maggs web design is going to blog the stats on this and the path of SEO over the next 2 or so months.

SEO constraints: the client wants a targetted audience in the South West of England, namely Bath, Bristol and London so We are going to take a look at the geographical area and whats needed to complete this task.

Obviously getting to the first page of google and yahoo for specific search terms and keywords is required. A site map has been submitted to Google and I generally let yahoo find the web whilst focus is on the google project. I am going to include Bing search engine, as this is generally gaining a bit of momentum currently.

Steps taken so far: title, description, graphics, anchor text have been set to a basic/ generic subject for building. The blog is running and has around 25 submissions, this is covering a broad base of subjects but relevant to building combined with local interest. The blog will be updated on a daily/ Bi daily basis for the next month or so and we will then look at grooming the client into self blogging

So thats the search engines crawls in a nutshell for the moment, i will update these as the seo progresses...

I have a list of directories from PR8 to PR0 that i will use for for the next stage of SEO.(back links)

The client has a links page for swapping with other local trades and directories for reciprocal links

Other

Facebook and other social media buttons have been added to the whole website

I have suggested that the Client looks into another type of traffice spawn, 'how to do' videos i.e. how to mix cement, how to erect a fence etc

I notice that already yahoo have indexed here

So as default I will use the above as a base for future seo with Yahoo...

I cant see the client anywhere on google yet.
